Thanks Chinggu

I remember I first met this petite little friend during a competition when I was around 11 years old, (that's one of the benefits of joining competition, you get to meet a lot of friends), we barely knew each other that time.

And now, almost 10 years after that, she appeared like a God sent angel to remind me how worthy I am. We were discussing about impressions on each other. I described her as artistic, innocent, responsible and a hint of silliness in a cute way. Then it's her turn, I was completely astounded by her replies, I never knew I used to have all those long forgotten good qualities in me before.

Hearing from someone you've been working together before is very much different than hearing it from your counselor, because you knew that she had actually seen it in me,  whereas a counselor, usually a complete stranger, hardly knew anything about you, they just said what they need to make you feel good.

Sometimes, people need to be reminded once in a while that they are more than they are worth. We tend to focus too much on our shortcomings, perfectionists like me has a penchant to devalue ourselves. This is actually not good in any way. Thanks to this friend, my confidence is boosted up a wee bit.

I'm truly grateful to have her in my life. She's such a nice friend, she prayed for me, taught me how to pray and share her knowledge to me as well.  May God bless her and her family abundantly.
I wish you all the best Teh!
